It appears that our contribution is essential for tribe's continued operation. By now this program has proved to be very successful. If you remember there was a time just when this started when tribe was down feeding us with "donuts" for hours almost every day. Now those days seem to be gone.

I think tribe deserves our support. It has been serving a crucial part in building our community and letting us stay connected in a safe and supporting environment, allowing us to be tuned to each others words, to know and inform others of events, and just play and have fun when we are bored at work. If you think about it - it is practically impossible to see our community function without tribe!

I thought I might share this.

This one time at Burningman....
I sat down in a chair next to a guy on theEsplanade overlooking the Playa that was Friday Morning.
He welcomed me By Saying "Hell of a place to be Today".
I was holding the remanants of a Marrionett Puppet, and one conversation turned to another and I soon discovered it was his 15th burn. (and this is in 2005).
I immediatly asked him about differences over the years and had a very eye opening experience. He told me about the 10 theories.

1~ Freedom. It was based all in this idea about Freedom. That one of the original ideas that attracted him to the event was the ideas that "freedom" provided this great opportuninty for "experience". That peole who are free find themselves. They discover what resides deep whithin themselves. Find out what you are really made of. He mentioned that on the playa, people can discover if they are the entertainment addicted, users and destructive people, or if they are experience adventurers, producers and activist people. A free person can discover if they are truley kind or selfiesh, or angry or content. Whatever we are, freedom creates and atmosphere where it all comes out in the wash.

2~ Temporary. Building things that are intentiaol temporary creates a appreciation of them that discourages inconsiderateness. It creates the sensitivities to the now, the immediate and the appreciation. Building something to burn is a way to practice appreciation of the now.

3~ ART. Art is communication. When people make art they are communication with us is words and ideas that everyday words fail to convey. There is more resound in the language of arts that seek to create conversations with others in a way that has a lasting effect on our sub- conscious. It helps people have deeper connection with each other by means of Creative Expressive dialouge.

4~ Obsurdity. The dessert is a blank canvass. We paint it and wipe it clean and this experience is both part of the appreciation of the now and an act of unseriousness. The schedules and rules of the days fall into their true componetes, unnessisary. Thus the celebration of our lives must include a celebration of the unnessesary. A diliberate act of silliness.

5~ DIY survival. Learning to do this is a persoanl act but doing it together breeds a community.

Why post on the burningman tribe if it is not Bunringman?

With so much Snark and Biratement at every turn, how can this be acceptable?

Burningman has obviously outgrown it's original character, what hope is there for any individual here?

First , let me admit, I was not at the first Burningman, or the second, or even the 8th. I did not start going to the playa till the year 2000.
That was a fantastic year for me, but I've met enough people to know that my Great Time was at the expense of Other people's time.

My newbie pressence ruined it for other ventran burners.
Not because I brooke any rules, or was a spectator or anything of the sort.

It was because I was new. I brought my pressence into the fold. The fold then changes to reflect my pressence for better or worst.
I came with thousands of others. None of us saw the toes we were stepping on.
We had no idea how much the playa meant to those people who built it from scratch years before.
Built not Physically, but conceptually.

Without any blueprints beyond some T.A.Z., some Cocaphony Experience and some Suicide Club Flavourings, the original cast of Burners literall cast their trust and hopes and dreams into the air in an act of what can only be described as,
the unknowable.

This was creation at the most dangerous level. Risking time, energy and social wrath for something that had very little definition.
They all participated in this unknown.

The Burningman Class of 2000 wiped that "unknown" off the map.
Since that time, we are now an event of roads, rules and even , explanations.
My Class killed the classes before it.

It's sad really.
I would apologise if I would make a difference.

But in the years since, I too have gotton my toes steped on.
Class of 2005 was ALL RAVE ALL DAY ALL NIGHT.

The beautiful art Festival I helped built was now a "COMMUNITY" event.
They even changed it on the web site!

And Thats how long it took me to figure it out.

Change.

The one thing I share in common with all my brothers and sisters, from any year at Burningman,
I share with any art community, raver colective, experience adventures, social builders, all of us
are subject to change,

It is the only constant in existence.

Over the years, I have met and befriended people from those early years.
And peopel from these last few and I have to say, the ones screaming about tipping points,
and "Real" and what is Burner or not, are exactly the people, who are missing out.

The truth is, the spirit that created Burningman isn't.
It does not exist in any tagible space.

It resides in the mind.

and for everyperson who thinks they know what it is or is not,
there is another person who believes the opposite.

The waves of change have always tested us.

Some of us can't get past it. They scream and yell and accuse others of all manner of disloyalty, disrespect and trechery.

But some of us have learned to embrace the change. Work withing it. Use it to our advantage even.
Some us will not give up simply when things get a bit rough.

In fact, some of us enjoy the challenges of change.
It helps us throw our blood sweat and tears into the unknown.

Through snark and silliness, sock puppets and all,
we are one.

Those who quit, simply haven't yet found their courage to find the unexpected,
even when everythinig seems predictable.

Those who do not quit, find there is more to this idea of Burningman,
than any negativity can disuade.

oxoxo
fucko

Please join burners, press and public for the Black Rock Arts Foundation ribbon-cutting ceremony for Peter Hudson's Homouroboros installation! This will be the official kick-off for the Zero1 festival, and the beginning of an entire month of monkey business in downtown San Jose.

The dedication will take place at 6pm on Saturday, May 17th at the Children's Discovery Museum - Discovery Meadow.

Once the ribbon is cut by Melissa Alexander, Executive Director of BRAF, and Peter Hudson, the artist and creator of Homouroboros, the drums will start to pound and the zeotrope will start to spin. Get ready for what Wired Magazine called the winner of the "WOW, did you see that?" survey at Burning Man 2007.

Reception follows the ceremony, and the end of civil twilight is at 8:39pm. Be sure to see this incredible zeotrope at its best ... in full dark ... to appreciate the effects under the strobe lights of what scientists call "the persistence of vision". And don't forget, this piece will be in Discovery Meadow from May 15th - June 15th, 2008.

Come by during the day, too (we'll have special daytime viewers available). Bring friends, family, kids, neighbors and co-workers! It's free to the public and a perfect fulfillment of BRAF's mission to place experimental, highly interactive art in public settings.

Dear Burningman,
I love the event But I was wondering if we can get some music beside Rave music going. Maybe a little country western or soem American Idol performers. I think it would fit niceley with The American Dream theme, don't you?

Sincerely,

Dear Burningman,
Every year I go to Burning Man and have to wait in line to get in with dozens of smelly, overloaded hippy cars. Canyou please do something to ensure there is a way for RV goers like myself to avoid having to be subjected to these people who feel it neccessary to get out of their cars, dancing around in traffic drinking profusely making entry a nightmare.

Thank you,
GHB RVer

Dearest Burningman,
Last year I couldn't find anyone to sell me drugs. Can you please provide a list of people you KNOW will be providing at the event and the theme camps they can be located.

Thanks a bunch,

You can check out my sets wwww.djay.myspace.tribe.net.com. Also if you can put me on any flyers I could spin at your private parties and I wouldn't charge you.

She's kind of our camp mama and was counting on having the RV as a way of dealing with her high blood pressure (so she'd have a place to hide from the elements and cool off). She still really wants to come, so we're trying to come up with some alternate solutions so she can safely deal with her blood pressure and still come out in August.
Does anyone have any ideas/thoughts/solutions, beyond an RV, of how others have dealt with high blood pressure on the playa?

I went in and there were all these people wrapped in plastic, suspended in a huge spider web. I talked with the artists, and they had hooked electrodes to the foreheads of the suspended people. They had developed a program that read your brainwaves and converted it to music. The crazy music playing was coming from these people! Then, they hooked me up and generated music from my brainwaves! I got to listen to the musical form of my thoughts. It sounded like drum and space! I still have dreams about it all the time, it was so incredible. Would anyone else like to share?

#1) Never Deliver Your Own Mail
#2) You Don’t Need Dead Letter For Pirate Mail
#3) Never Give Dead Letter Anything You Actually Want Delivered.

In 1878, my great-great-grandmother and her parents traveled from New England to San Francisco and then up to the coast of Washington, passing through the Panama Canal. They carried mail with them for people that they knew, and acquaintances they didn’t know. While there was already the Pony Express and the growing USPS for the shipping of things, it was still common practice for traveling citizenry to transport mail for one another. Now, whenever I bring up the hand-to-hand mail system, the first question I get is, “what’s wrong with the Post Office?”

Well, nothing’s wrong with the post system. I love the postal system. The growth of the federal postal system leaves a perfect vacuum for the re-growth of a hand-to-hand mail system. With the ability to get mail from Seattle to Far Cathay in a day, what possible purpose could there be in a set of envelopes that takes insanely long times to travel, if they ever, indeed, arrive at all?

It’s all about increasing network connectivity. I have mail from Austin Burners and to Austin Burners, to Jaclyn of the PINK messenger service, to punks and bikers and fairies and hippies in ever state of the union. I have labeled and ready, but as-yet unfilled, envelopes whose owners doubt if they will ever receive mail back. And they probably won’t. Dead Letter, as a metaphor about mail, does hardly any mail, and the mail we do, in fact, ‘handle’, is routinely misdelivered.

Dead Letter Is All About Misdelivery.
We think it’s funny to give away a letter for Seattle in St. Louis, a letter for Boston in Austin. Given the totally wankernous with which we mishandle the mail, I’m actually totally astonished at the number of people who say, “Oh, a friend of mine got one of your envelopes!” We misdeliver mail so thoroughly that in fact I’m astonished that any of our mail ever gets through.

First, what is Pirate Mail?
#1) Envelopes are spraypainted, silkscreened, printed, stamped… sometimes drawn. The skull-and-crossbones logo was designed by a stencil artist who has since moved to Cincinatti, and I routinely intend to send mail for him to Cincinatti, if anyone is going that way.
#2) The blank envelopes acquire people. At a giant party, one out of thirty people actually wants to write mail, however nearly everyone wants to be on envelope in case someone wants to write them mail.

Dirty Jesus Guadalupe Gonzalez
Chicken Hed
Seattle, WA
Write about: Anything Fucked Up

Nicole
Asian Art Museum
(works at)
S.F., CA
Write about: Art you have made

Deadletter or The Wrench
Watershed, PDX
A Giant industrial building in the SE Portland, take the 19 bus out of downtown
Write about: social engineering through the provision of infrastructure

#3) The mail gets written. Someone gets a bug to write to their friend, and writes them down on an envelope and gets to work. Or perhaps they are struck by all of the empty envelopes, and one of the ‘write about’ topics engenders such a disproportionate response that they immediately get sucked into epistolary activities. Especially on drugs and alcohol. That’s when the best mail gets written.

#4) The Mail gets fucked with… There will come a day when we have the ability to scan or photograph all the mail that comes through our hands, and then we’ll let the mail go much more quickly. As it stands, it’s too tempting to want to hold onto the good mail for awhile, especially for the reading of mail on open mics with puppets, while people that are secretly in league with us curse us and shout us down. The mail gets altered, added to, read, crumpled… Pirate Mail is all about Open Source Messaging. We hand out red pens for people to correct spelling on entire-too-earnest love letters.

#5) The Mail travels. Oh… you’re going to Berkeley? Take this mail. Give it to whomever you like when you get there. Does the mail get delivered? Generally not. It sits in drawers of that guy who says, “Oh, I’m going to see them this month, I’m sure of it!” and then they forget and it waits and waits and waits. Several people of mail have outlived the people they have been sent to.

Don’t Deliver Your Own Mail…
If I am standing next to you with pirate mail from me, to you, I’ll turn to the person between us, and have them deliver the mail. The shortest connection for pirate mail would be o → 1 → o. At the other end of the spectrum might be handing off the mail to someone on the street in a city far across the world, taking potluck as to whether or not the mail ever gets there. o → infinity → o…?

With that in mind, reasonable pirate mail is ‘tossing’ the mail in the general direction of the system that you are trying to get it to. Good mail has good meta, which means that you try to point the mail towards people who are well known, or locations that are hubs, and for whom your targets are one or two layers removed. “Regular at The Player’s Bar” or “Good Friend of Pearl Jam” are ways to get the mail on its way in hopes that, having reached the easier location/community, some agent will notice and map it into reach of your target.

You Don’t Need Dead Letter For Pirate Mail…
Dead Letter is a branding for film production, a Burning Man Mutant Vehicle Devoted to the Mis-Delivery Of Mail, a 51-week Pirate Mail Service, a branding for Free Fun, and a cover for the metavirus. We’re a metaphor about Pirate Mail, and everything about our branding is stealing. Your name is Jackie and now you’re Dead Letter J? Who is to tell you otherwise? Steal the logo, steal the envelopes, steal the idea. Set up a massive acid smuggling operation from Canada to Mexico using the pretension of Pirate Mail to cover your extensive operation, it’s all fine by us. The Underground Railroad was Pirate Mail for People. The Crying of Lot 49 has actually engendered several other underground mail systems – www.waste.org and potsal.com are examples of burners and activitists with Pirate Mail as well… any time you ask someone to give your lost-and-found to someone who will see you, you’re engaged in Pirate Mail.

Don’t Give Dead Letter Anything You Actually Want Delivered…
Seriously, we’re total wankers about the mail. Your mail is as likely to used to stop up an oil leak on the Dead Letter Truck (and be delivered afterwards!) than to be delivered. Which is not to say that we never deliver anything, or can’t be convinced to take your mail seriously. We once got a set of welded wings from Berkeley (Tabasco from BMORG) to Portland through 5 sets of hands, in less than 72 hours. I delivered mail yesterday to a co-worker whose girlfriend I met completely out of context, and who thought it would be funny for him to have a Pirate Mail envelope appear in his box at ITT-Tech. One time we pirate mailed a bunch of graywater (take your own wastewater home from the playa, assholes!) We pulled up onto the grass violently with the Dead Letter Truck, filming and honking, and climbed out and poured the bottles all over their car. They didn’t ever expect to see THAT pirate mail again! We’re more of a metaphor about the concept of pirate mail. Our avid misdelivery places our envelopes in places we’d never DREAM! Occasionally, we do Information Warfare hits in places, saturating them with our signage… and the signs appear in windows of homes, in other cities, on ebay…

Seriously Though, What’s It For?
Consider the connections you can almost reach. You don’t have their number, but you have john’s number, and he can certainly reach them when you want them. But John moved away, or you moved away, or the person you were friends with you werent’ friends with anymore, and you still want to reach someone on the other side of the network. Pirate Mail them! Perhaps you want to meet ‘one of those guys’ and you aren’t yet sure which one you actually want to be friends with… Pirate Mail them! Perhaps you want people to watch your dvd as it travels hand-to-hand towards your someday recipient… Pirate Mail it!

That last concept comes with a disclaimer: money is a root structure hack on the flow of information. Attempting to advertising in a way designed to bring money or energy back to yourself is inherently self-defeating through Pirate Mail. For your mail to really travel, it needs to be carried on the good will of all those volunteer carriers. Your energy should go outward.

Plan to never see your mail again, or ever to hear if it ever made it to your target. I’m sure it didn’t. However, it probably made it to someone else. And if you included your email, or even better your Pirate Mail address, perhaps you’ll get something back.

Every Time Mail Gets Delivered, A Hippie-Raver Loses Her Wings.
Mail never dies until it gets delivered. As long as it is out there, it is alive, being written on, looked at, read, modified… the mail in travel is much more dynamic than mail that has arrived. That hippie-raver probably left them in a tent, somewhere…

Pirate Mail at Flipside
To participate in Pirate Mail at Burning Man, consider bringing a piece of ready-made piece of mail for someone off-campus. We’ll put it in an envelope with the Pirate Mail Address…

Campname/Vague Directions of How to Find The Person
City/State
Write About: __________

What's the connection between the BRCPO and Dead Letter?
Besides the BRCPO facade being made at the Dead Letter building in PDX, and the age-old connection between the Dead Letter Truck and the BRCPO, they are separate projects. We're interested in taking your mail OFF playa, which will get given away in an attempt to connect burners with other burners as they travel. On playa, we do deliver/misdeliver a certain amount of mail on-playa (we find creative uses for the BRCPO's undeliverables, for example...), however our emphasis on playa is more of a vacation from the endless work...

This is a call to action intended to help out the Hawaii Regional burn Rebirth 2008 which takes place this week. There is a burn ban in effect for the Island of Hawaii based on air pollution from the local volcano. The area Rebirth is held at never got out of the green zone in terms of air quality and our torching of our effigy puts less pollutants into the air than all the cars using the main road through the area in even one day. We need to change the mayor's mind and we need your help, if you have ever been to our event, or would like to do so in the future please consider helping us out today.

If we have ANY hope of burning the phoenix at Rebirth 2008 we NEED the
community to come together RIGHT NOW to make Mayor Harry Kim change
his mind and grant us a burn exemtion. They are telling us that we can
NOT burn the phoenix based on an emergency proclamation banning all
outdoor fires. The Mayor can give us an exemtion but will not give us
the time of day as we are nobodys.

We NEED you the community to send in a mass of emails (please
personalize to your liking but hit on the same points) to help them
understand just how much the community is invested in the burning of
the phoenix.

Time is running out, please send this in to Mayor Kim at cohmayor@co.hawaii.hi.us
RIGHT NOW! Thank you for your help, with your input we might actually pull this
off.

Here is the email we need you to send (please personalize it and
delete everything above it, thank you):

Aloha Honorable Mayor Kim,

I am a participant in the annual Rebirth festival in Pahoa. I have
learned recently that the centerpiece of the event, the ceremonial
burning of the phoenix, may be prevented by your emergency
proclamation prohibiting non-cooking fires.

The ceremonial burning of the phoenix has a lot of meaning to me. It
is the culmination of an event that has:

-Brought me closer to my neighbors and community
-Helped to support local art and artists
-Become a boon to a economically troubled part of the island

The ceremonial burning of the phoenix is the formal end to Rebirth.
Without it I leave empty and unfulfilled. Please grant a burn exemtion
to Rebirth 2008 so we can continue our tradition.

Mahalo nui loa for your time and kokua,

My idea is to make little drawstring cloth bags out of various scraps of really cool fabric that I have laying around attached to a cord long enough to wear as a necklace or attch to a belt or something. In these bags I would put either chapstick/little bottles of sunscreen/lighters/handmade clay pendents/etc. I figure people can then use the bags to keep money or keys or IDs in after they use the sun screen or what ever was in them. Does this sound like a good idea? If not, what are some other suggestions?

The Orgasmateria is recruiting for a big expansion this year, and we need a corps of dedicated Orgasmateers to make it all happen with a minimum of fuss.

We’re recruiting “shift chiefs” to manage the camp for three-hour blocks, and if we get enough people, nobody will have to be tied down (so to speak) at the camp for more than a few hours all week. Shift chiefs won’t have to do everything by themselves, of course, but they’ll be in charge of organizing volunteer assistants and making sure things are set up, run well, and cleaned up.

There are basically four types of shifts, with different sorts of activities depending on the time of day:

Morning Activity shift 10am-1pm: In the morning, we’ll be offering wake-up spankings (Coffee-n-Paddles), followed by the Naked Gun nude water-gun battle at high noon.
Shift Chief Responsibilities: prepare coffee, give spankings, send minions for ice, fill coolers with icewater for Naked Gun, make sure folks strip before filling their water-guns

Afternoon Workshop shift 2pm-5pm: the afternoon is reserved for workshops, most of which will be taught by “guest lecturers” so the shift chief’s main responsibility will be: making sure the space is clean and ready before folks arrive; crowd control when the space fills up; assisting the instructor if necessary; and helping to straighten up afterwards

Evening Mixer sift 5pm-8pm: In the evenings the Orgasmateria will host a number of themed mixers (Kinkurious, Skinsational, etc), the shift chief’s job will be to oversee set up, emcee any contests of games at the party, and makes sure any major party fouls are cleaned up afterwards.

Late Night Playtime Shift 10pm-1am: This year the Orgasmateria will be open for free-play at night, with various bondage gear, tickletoys, implements of discipline and vibrating thingamabobs available for use. The Shift chief will be in charge of controlling access (no tourists taking up space, etc); enforcing Orgasmateria etiquette/rules, helping guests who may be unfamiliar with our toys and making sure things get tossed in the appropriate bin when folks are done.

If any of these shifts sound like something you could handle, please volunteer with an email to orgasmateria@nyc.com, specifying whatever preferences you have for time of day and/or day of week. Note, that you don’t have to camp with Orgasmateria to be a shift chief or volunteer, but if you DO want to camp with us, let us know ASAP!

Viva la Orgasamateria!

I'm Thunderhawk, Mayor of Pleasure Garden.

I'm taking off work Thursday August 21st through Sunday September 7th.

I'd like to leave Thursday after work (1800-1900 hrs) or more likely Friday morning 0830. That would put me on the Playa Saturday night or Sunday morning.

I bought a cargo van from work and it is reliable. This would be a standard white full sized van. Good part is lots of room. Bad part is 10-15 MPG. It has two front seats but I am planning to install a bench seat (maybe 2) for more passengers. I figure 5 plus me maximum, unless we want to play "Sardines". :) There should be plenty of room for everyone and their gear.

I am planning to do final packing and MOOP sweep with help on Monday afternoon/evening and final MOOP sweep on Tuesday morning then leave. Home late Thursday or maybe Friday sometime.

Problably one night each way in a hotel but not necessary. Obviously anyone going with me would need early admission passes.

I live right on the edge of Milwaukee in Wisconsin. I am currently alone but looking for three to five passengers to share driving, fuel and companionship (it's a long ride alone!).

Of course this is all negotiable with my passengers

BURNING MAN WISCONSIN--- CALL FOR ARTISTS, technologists, IT people and Do-It-Yourselfers. Interactive dancers, DJ's, painters, fashion designers, sculptors, musicians, welders, poets, visual artists, performance artists of all kinds.

In mid-June we are doing a large-scale Burning Man event.

If you know nothing about Burning Man, or just a little about it, let us explain why the impact of the Burning Man experience has been so profound that a culture has formed around it. This culture pushes the limits of experience and has led to people banding together nation-wide and putting on their own events in an attempt to rekindle that magic feeling of being a part of this community. This will be one of those events.

Art is such an unavoidable part of this experience that Larry Harvey, founder of the Burning Man project, gives an art-theme to each year, to encourage a common bond and help tie each individual's contribution together in a meaningful way. Participants are encouraged to make the theme come alive, whether it is through a large-scale art installation, a theme camp, gifts brought to be given to other individuals, costumes, or any other medium that one comes up with. There will be spectators and interested people at this event, but it's really about us. The spectators just pay for the room rental to make it possible. We all get in for free and get free drinks and treats. If any $ is left over, we can give out Art Grants... as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit we can do that.

We are approaching all the interesting, mixed media groups and creative people and asking each one to create an interactive "environment" that really reflects what they do, what they are about. It could be something with hangings, projections, activities, giveaways.... a little world where your fellow creative people can come in, participate, and really meet you. And you will you have plenty of time off to tour their little worlds. Experience the Gift Economy that is Burning Man, which we are bringing to Milwaukee. This idea might be new to you--like a potluck dinner, you bring something and then share in what everyone else brings. You always come away with far more than you bring. You will directly participate in their world and their process. You will engage others, others will engage you. We challenge you to radically express yourself, and be brave enough to experience the radical expressions of others.

Send us your info if you want to be a part of this!

Your name, email or physical address and phone number, type of art or creation that you do and how it is interactive, your availability June 14th or June 21st. Please respond ASAP because space is limited. Deadline is May 14th. Please respond to instituteforthought@gmail.com.

The Institute For Thought is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

In the year of record fuel costs and general economic turmoil, rideshares to Burning Man will acquire an importance not seen before.

This is a thread for persons who have space available for people or cargo to post their availability and for persons in need of these things to post their needs. It'll probably be better to discuss exact costs off list (ie: Gas Share).

Remember to include info on where you're coming from, your estimated traveling dates including when you'll need to arrive at and depart from the burn.

I hope this thread lasts until the burn and that alot of folks who otherwise would have had to give it up for this year will be able to go instead. Let's keep it near the top.

I'm worried for my own sake. Most gas is $4 or higher per gallon here in San Diego where we average around 50 cents above the national average anyway. It's quite likely to be over $5 a gallon come August.

It'll be even higher along the route to Burning Man with Lee Vining (near Mono Lake)expected to be the hands down high price leader. They've for years averaged around $2 per gallon higher than gas in San Diego ($2.50 in SD, $4.50 to $5 in Lee Vining).

Do you think it will impact you?

The room will be for 2. I will be traveling internationally about 50%. My business partner (not GF so no drama there) will be running operations while I am away. She may travel about 20% on the domestic side for now, then once she has her passport she will be traveling allot with me or to elsewhere. I mention this since while we are on international travel and may not be reachable due to time differences, we don't want to come back and find we were all evicted or ripped off.

So a constant party pad, heavy drug dealing, ghetto vibe is defiantly not going to work for us ;-) (I mention this as it has happened more than once with other roommates)

We are looking for a clean and stable place. Preferably community living style where we live in peace, cook together (Vegetarian, Vegan, Pescitarian) , play together, create together. The place needs to be stable, bills paid on time, very limited chance of eviction, happy an peaceful fun loving creative vibe. Artistic and introverted OK, but not depressed hating life emotionally draining :-( hehe

We will be needing this place for about 6months I estimate. While I finish the acquisition of the SF 7UP bottling Plant where I will be creating lofts, recording studio, artist incubator, clothing design company, and an event area space for 4000+ permitted and secured for the rest of the other operations. If we all play nice and get along, a loft may be available for you. It's all about the symbiotic relationships here!

I will be merging/partnering operations with a major clothing company in SF. With a client base such as Adidas, Thrasher, Independent, rocawear, Delia's, Macy's Nordstrom, Exact Science, "THE BAY" etc and many more. I mention this because if you are an artist, We are start
