I have put up my gallery of giant panoramas for 2009. I hope you all got a chance to see the "evolution of BRC" display which had 11 years of the panos (shrunk down to just 10' long) on the playa at around 8:30 and 200' from the Esplanade.
Here they are: pic.templetons.com/brad/pano/bman09.html
In addition, I have rebuilt a lot of the older panos at a higher resolution to reflect today's web and screens, so you may want to look at some of the older years. All from 2005 on have been rebuilt, plus the best ones. This year I made pages containing some of the best:
pic.templetons.com/brad/pan...burn.html
Contains the big full-city image from each of the last 12 years, all one one page.

Is a sampling of some of my favourites from the 12 years.
This year, I did a lot of night panoramas, thanks to my new 5dII camera which has much better low light ability. Even so, night panos are much harder than day ones, but I know you will enjoy the shot of the burn from the Esplanade and the playa from the temple.
You may also want to check out the super-sized one I put on gigapan at gigapan.org/gigapans/33260/ -- be sure to click on the full screen viewer link, and then follow the link to the rest of my gigapans, which are mostly BRC: gigapan.org/profiles/2015/
My regular sized photos are not yet picked and arranged. I'll announce when those are ready or track the burning man or photography topics on my blog.

Re: Giant panoramas of 2009, several done at night
Mon, September 28, 2009 - 8:36 PMIs the RV count going up? I know somebody counts cars at exodus, I don't know if anybody counts RVs vs cars vs trucks, would be interesting to know. I think it's 19,000 vehicles according to the BLM, which is not really great on the carpooling, though I can understand why you can't get 4 people and their playa gear in an average car.
RV rental is getting really expensive. The main rental companies all jack up rates to double or triple normal prices for Burning Man. Whoever is counting should also consider counting the rental companies for RVs and trucks. I mean if there are 400 Cruise America RVs at $2500 a pop, it means Burning Man is a million dollars in business for them. I do suspect the cost of RVs for BM surpasses the budget of the BMOrg.
But I got in one (not at those prices though.) I won't apologize for it either. The BM senior staff are all in RVs too. There is an article on my web site I wrote for the Black Rock Gazette about the RV vs. Tent issue. -
