Greetings Everyone:
We have been looking into some portable cots to use outside our sleeping structure when it gets too hot inside.
Anyone in love with they are using that can standup to the Playa? Thanks in Advance.

Tue, September 22, 2009 - 6:16 PMfwiw, I'd go with a hammock if you have any hope of putting one up.
Get something solid, not one of those aluminum cheapos. (Note: there may be good aluminum cots, but I'm guessing that it's not the sort you find on discount at big 5.) -

Re: Portable Cots
Wed, September 23, 2009 - 12:46 PMA cheap cot will collapse if people use it as seating for more than one. We have two heavy duty hunting/army cots which will hold 300+ lbs. Yes, these are used for daytime napping. We cover them with old comforters folded lengthwise and clipped on with spring clamps. To nap, you just open the comforter for a less dusty surface, then remember to clip it back when you are done. -

Or to put a new freak into your sex life.
Just saying.....
