Hi all
Just wondering, is there anything BESIDES Sea of Dreams going on this year? We have been the past 2 years and I really want to try something new. I dont mind the ticket price, just want to have a great time in a setting slightly more intimate than SoD.
Thanks!
jj

Mon, December 10, 2007 - 11:15 AMTantra is having an event at Somarts gallery. Still pricey, still big, but at least you don't have to feel pressured to dress up in faux fur. The music is mostly Psychadelic Trance, with some breaks (bassnectar/freq nasty), and some electro (such as Forest Green).

Re: New Years Eve 2008
Mon, December 10, 2007 - 2:35 PMI'm heading down to Leon Nicaragua for New Years.
To quote lonely planet.
"Steamy, volcanic and intellectual, the northwest is home to Nicargua's best museums, oldest universities and finest churches, including the grandest cathedral in Central America (not to mention the refinery of one of the world's best rums).
Even better, if you've ever wondered what two tectonic smashing together looks like in real time, the Cordillera de los Mraibios is this region's smoking bakbone: some 60 unbroken kilometers of undulating lava and ash, from the red and black sands of Volcan Momotombo to smoking San Cristobal's smooth, gray cone. The cordillera rises from the sweaty plains to cool crater lakes, delicious hot springs, and more than a dozen peaks, five of which have erupted in the last century, and all of which can be climbed.
Bounded by more than 150 km of shoreline -- sandy beaches with solid surfing to lush mangrove wetlands -- and peppered with colonial towns, indigenous villages and archeological sites, Nicaragua's northwest is one of the most accessible undiscovered treasures you'll ever find."
Anyone want to join me? -

Re: New Years Eve 2008
Wed, December 12, 2007 - 1:09 PMI agree with *~FaF~* … you don’t rest up for the BOC party. Defeats the whole purpose.
I had some clever friends take that route a couple years ago; they went home early new years eve, got plenty of sleep, showered and arrived all fresh and clear–headed first thing in the morning. They ended up having a horrible time.
Don't do it.
Rock hard.
Party Through.
Be a Champion.
