Friday at Kamp Suckie Fuckaye we setup a shitty ramp with some leftover wood from our saloon and had people jump it. We called it "The Fucking Ramp" as "Ramp of Death" was already taken. Anyway this guy came by and hung out for a few hours, he had to be the drunkest individual I had ever seen in my life.

Every time I see this picture I wonder who he was / is and what his back story was.

I guess I was just curious where this was going to go. I have this unflappable sense that there is no such thing as a bad person (or good person for that matter): only actions can be good or bad. So I was curious if this could possibly be the elusive "bad person" I've been looking for to disprove my philosophy.

      Alas, apparently no.

It appears to me that most people I encounter (in some semblance of honesty) gradually reveal that they are like what they first impress, only moreso. As such, when someone violates that social custom, it's rather disconcerting. And by that, I mean they usually seem like a total douche unless you suffer them long enough to realize they really aren't.

I know a guy here who has [what I just decided] to call the "band-gap problem" (which I surprisingly dug from some neuron firing that was set in place in a microelectronics class some 20 years ago): at first, he seems like the most interesting guy you'll ever meet, then as you get to know him, that facade proves to be thin and pathetic, revealing a shell of a total horn-dogging loser. But then -- if you stick with him -- you come to realize he's just a regular fellow who's trying to scratch out some semblance of purpose in this crazy world.

What I think is true, unfortunately enough, is that there is rarely a shortcut. This topic's subjective pronoun, in the circumstances the original author found him, would probably take more patience than the exceptional person holds before his non-douche personality revealed itself. There are exceptions when you can find the human inside quickly, but usually you're up against a lifetime of psychological walls, specifically designed to be impermeable.

      Fuck you, I love you,

Conversly if there are no such things as a stupid question then that means only the person asking the question is stupid or not.
