Thu, October 8, 2009 - 10:53 PMHushville has "flounders" (founders) and a mayor. Rather casual and unofficial. There's a website where you must preregister and agree to the three basic rules of the village. I guess I'm one of the elders, having been there since Hushville was founded. Not that I do much.

HA!!! we don't need no stinki'n organization.
emails, webinars, blueprints...
i believe that in our village the other camps governed themselves...there was no central government.

Snowflake operates more like a confederation. There are no
village dues or officers, although long timers pass around the
mayoral scepter. There are some anchor camps as well as
others that come and go. This model has done us very well.
We've been continuous since 2000 and are still going strong.
