Lost 2008: Husband's wedding ring

Found 2009: Husband's wedding ring!!!

Here's the story:

2005: we met
2006: we skipped due to planning and paying for our de-fault world wedding.
2007: we did a Playa Gratitude Ceremony where we exchanged very unique rings (not our reg rings), special Playa rings. 1) to honor the Playa for the gift of our love. 2) so we didn't and don't have to worry about losing our other rings out there.
2008: husband lost his Playa ring presumably during tear down.
2009: He arrived on Playa 12 days Pre-Event. In between his volunteer work he had some time to set-up our camp. As he was shaking out (you know, mounds of Playa) all the astro turf something went flying up and landed across the street. Not wanting to MOOP he went to pick it up. BAM! His Playa ring.



So yes, the ring was sitting in the astro-turf from storage but it came back on the Playa and kinda not easy to see a silver ring covered in dust in Playa dune across the street.
