Arrived late thurs night aug 27th and left mon seprt 7th mid afternoon.

OK in 05 I went Mon afternoon-Mon afternoon and it was perfect.
In 06 I went Sunday AM - Mon Afternoon, it was one day too much. Started to get the paranoids to see greenery, and felt like I couldnt escape the sun. (PUSSY)
So in 07 I did Mon afternoon - Sunday, but left for others. I personally wanted to stay and had all the mojo to do so.
In 08 I did Mon afternoon - Mon eve and it was again perfect.

This year, I got there as the gates open SUn night. My health has been down, but I think it was one day too many, unless I get my ass in shape, next time I am going to have to cut the trip a little short and get there on Tuesday to make sure my back and health is ready for the Temple. I left Sunday eve this year and I will forever regret it.

I love the start of the week, Monday and Sunday eve in BRC, but the temple burn and Sun. night after the week is for me much more important FOR ME personally to be there for.
I REALLY love Tuesday night, so I will never miss that.

My camp mates live in Reno and holy shit they stay there for a long ass time. He just got back from another trip up getting shiva stage or some project he was working on's reminants. But he has made the playa his bitch by now ;)

Arrived Thursday at 12:45 AM, revelling in the peace and emptiness.

Left Tuesday at 1:30 PM. So 13 days.

This was my 4th burn, so I guess I've spent a month on the playa total. I usually show up Sunday at midnight and leave after the temple burn.

18 days this year, just in time to catch early man. I've always gone in early to work on art projects. I like before the event, more than during.

I was there for 10 days.

Lifetime total=I average about 6 or 7 days X 10 years=about 2 months.That seems like alot...

Something like 16 Days..... 1 week volunteering with the Cafe Decor crew at the Center Camp Cafe and the rest of the time enjoying the burn and subsequent camp tear down and moop patrol. I really enjoyed pre-event. Almost more than burn week..... kind of ;-)

Arrived on the Playa at 11pm Sunday, August 23rd
Departed the Playa around 11am Tuesday, September 8th.

Next year I am thinking about taking over a month off from work and volunteering with DPW. I'll use up all my vacation hours then make up the rest by filling out a 'Leave Without Pay' form at work.

My first year was in 2000 stayed 3 days missed a lot, finally made it back again this year stayed 7 days and still missed alot !!!!

7 days this year, last year our first we did 8. Had a few extra days off this year and wanted to do a side trip as we dont get out west to often and its hard to beat the scenery.
