Hey, y'all. So I reckon this would be the best place to let you all know of some literary-minded blog posts regarding the last Burning Man that I posted up on the website of The Bookloft, an independent bookstore based in the Berkshires. I touch there on life in Entheon Village, the resources for readers out on the playa and a rather surprising conversation with Adrian Roberts that ended up leading to a very begrudging retraction on my part. So here it is:
Part One:

And Part Two:

I should also mention to any burner authors out there specializing in fringe subject matter, feel free to let me know of your existence! I'm also open to any suggestions for books, either fiction or non-fiction, Burning Man-related or not. I've gotten GREAT recommendations out on the playa, so by all means, I'm open to knowing what actually makes people read around here.

Re: For The Bookfond Burners
Tue, September 22, 2009 - 6:02 PMHey, someone on the local group (Toronto, Canada) suggested a book called 'The Machine book'. This is a journal about a 2005 art project called 'The Machine', and it's progression from conception to execution.

Re: For The Bookfond Burners
Thu, September 24, 2009 - 10:55 AMThanks much. Yes, by all means, I'm totally open to books written by burners. Mine is a specific niche, but burners tend to have pretty esoteric interests, so by all means, plug away.
