Looks like they got the date wrong for Burning Man (yay!) and I think it's funny that the one photo they chose shows someone wearing feathers, one of the few things discouraged at BM.

Yea burning man is listed right up there with the testical, turnip and redneck festivals.
I guess thats about right, burning man is a bunch of red necks, who fell off the turnip wagon who think partying in the desert gives them balls and makes them self reliant.

-gives them balls and makes them self reliant.

Self reliant dangling balls. Yes there is plenty of that out there.

i just went to the annual "Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival" here in Salmon Idaho last weekend !!!

it was held at a local cattle rancher's home & field.

no vendors, just a $5 cover for as much finger steaks & testicals, hushpuppies, hand cut fries, & baked beans you can eat, along with a huge assortment of sides, salads, and deserts .

a mechanical bull for the kids...and a live bluegrass band.

          good times :)

Description of Burning Man, from Telegraph.co.uk:

Each summer close to 50,000 hedonists gather in the Nevada desert for eight days of mayhem, culminating in the burning of a giant wooden effigy.

Definition of "mayhem", from the Merriam-Webster dictionary:

1 a: willful and permanent deprivation of a bodily member resulting in the impairment of a person's fighting ability b: willful and permanent crippling, mutilation, or disfigurement of any part of the body
2: needless or willful damage or violence

OK, maybe I've been missing something (besides a limb?), but how many of you were crippled at Burning Man?

      Me! Me! Twice!

Well that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

me too! I broke my big toenail when i accidentally kicked and rv tire while wearing sandals. And, yes, it sorely inhibited my fighting ability--how can you kick someone with a broken toenail?...but fortunately it wasn't permanent--it grew back in about 6 mos.
