Sorry you got stuck, can you say fearful monkey? Utah is strange fo shor. We have a huge showing here and I can only blame it on the conservative monkeys trying to run the show here. one word for them FAIL!

A lot of my friends from out of state have been surprized that it's just as easy to get drunk in Utah as anywhere else.

It's actually pretty interesting to watch the gyrations of the local lawmakers. They are doing anything they can to make it easier for a tourist to buy a drink, but continue to come up with cockamamie schemes to "protect" the locals from the demon rum. But, the better you know the law the more solutions you can come up with. We have lots of private parties around here.

Our Decomp is usually a private party-- this year we're co-hosting with a group that secured a bar venue. It's nice from the organizational standpoint- we don't have to take on quite so much liability, don't have to come up with bartenders, security, etc. .But, after people drink their two "free" drinks (drink ticket drinks), yeah, they will have to buy a drink to carry on. It's also REALLY nice because the way the venue is set up (the bar is a 21+ only area) we will be able to invite people 18-21. Our Decompressions are usually 21+ only because of the alcohol so that's an improvement, I think.
